Are you and/or any of the clerks and deputy clerks classified as an exempt employee?

Thank you. Does not help support my pending argument, but that's why I need the feedback.

I am an exempt employee - no overtime, no comp time. I function as the Clerk (but the title itself is reserved for the County Administrator), the FOIA Officer, the executive assistant to the County Administrator, and I've been given some of the PIO's responsibilities since the position was eliminated a few years ago.

Thank you for your response. I'm trying to build an argument that my position should be exempt, and this helps.

I am exempt. I am Clerk for the Board, Records Administrator, Executive Assistant to the County Administrator, and FOIA Officer.

I have a split position, Executive Assistant/Town Clerk, and am exempt. I keep up with discretionary time and use it hour for hour.

I was Deputy Clerk/Assistant to the County Administrator and I was exempt. I am now the Clerk and Deputy County Administrator, still exempt.
